Mein Vater stieg Mitte der 60er Jahre des vorigen Jahrhunderts auf Kleinbildias um und schenkte mir seine Agfaklick, die mit Mittelformatfilmen gefüttert werden wollte. Für ein Kind von ungefähr 10 Jahren und ausgestattet mit schmalem Taschengeld gab es nur selten die Gelegenheit, die Kamera zu nutzen. Zum Glück gibt es noch ein paar Bilder, die ich mit dieser Kamera gemacht habe und die ich hier gerne zeige.
Das Titelbild zeigt meine erste Kamera, eine Agfa Isola 1. Es war wirklich nur eine ganz einfache Kamera. Es gab nicht viele Dinge, die ich selbst einstellen konnte. Blende 11 oder 16, 1/35 Sekunde Verschlusszeit oder B (für engl. Bulb, auch beliebig lang). Dann noch die Entfernung grob zwischen 1,5 m und unendlich wählen, was bei den kleinen Blenden mehr als ausreichend war.
Dennoch ist es mir gelungen, auch unscharfe Fotos zu produzieren. Siehe dazu das Bild in den Alpen in der Galerie. Ich zeige nichts Besonderes, nur ein paar Schnappschüsse aus dem Familienurlaub 1967 in Italien. Zur damaligen Zeit war Italien ein Traumziel vieler Deutscher. Wir fuhren damals über die Alpen nach Jesolo zum Camping und haben natürlich Venedig besucht. Die Rückfahrt führte uns zum Schluss noch an den Rheinfall in Schaffhausen.
Natürlich sind mehr oder weniger Allerweltsbilder, wie sie jeder Urlauber mit nach Hause bringt, entstanden. Benutzt wurde ein schwarzweiß Negativfilm, der beim Fotohändler entwickelt wurde und der auch gleich die kleinformatigen Abzüge anfertigte.

My first camera
My father switched to 35mm slides in the middle of the 60s of the last century and gave me his Agfaklick, which wanted to be fed with medium format films. For a child of about 10 years and equipped with small money there was only rarely the opportunity to use the camera. Luckily there are still some pictures I took with this camera which I like to show here.
The cover picture shows my first camera, an Agfa Isola 1. It was really just a very simple camera. There weren’t many things I could adjust myself. Aperture 11 or 16, 1/35 second shutter speed or B (for Bulb). Then choose the distance roughly between 1.5 m and infinity, which was more than sufficient for the small apertures.
Nevertheless, I managed to produce blurred photos as well. See the picture in the Alps in the gallery. I don’t show anything special, just a few snapshots from my family vacation in Italy in 1967. At that time Italy was a dream destination for many Germans. At that time we drove across the Alps to Jesolo to camping and of course we visited Venice. The return journey led us at the end to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen.
Of course, more or less commonplace pictures, as every holidaymaker brings home, have been created. A black and white negative film was used, which was developed at the photo dealer and who also made the small-format prints.
